This is the perfect camp to kick off summer break! Your creative sewer will love using the sewing machine everyday to stitch up a variety of projects.

During our Summer Collection camp sewers will make a variety of projects that they can wear throughout summer. We will make a cute tank top, matching shorts and a reversible bag!

This camp will be led by Ciao Bella Sewing. All supplies, including fabric, sewing machines, and sewing notions are provided.

It is SEW much fun to sew and create. Students can bring their own sewing machine or use the provided sewing machines. Students should bring a water bottle and healthy snack everyday. New and returning students are welcome! Ages 8 – 15

Learning to sew has many benefits:

• Sewing allows children to explore their creativity and express themselves through fabric, colors, and design choices. They can bring their own ideas to life and create unique garments or crafts that reflect their individuality.
• Sewing teaches practical skills that they can use throughout life like learning to sew on buttons, mending garments, or even creating their own clothing fosters independence and self-sufficiency.
• Following patterns, measuring, and making precise cuts and stitches develop fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination as well as problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Sewing can be a calming and therapeutic activity. The focus and concentration required during sewing can help children relax, reduce stress, and improve their overall well-being. It allows them to immerse themselves in a creative process and enjoy a sense of accomplishment when they complete a project.
