THE CENTER OF OUR COMMUNITY
Filled with both culture and history, Gorton Center was transformed from a school built in 1901 into a community center in 1972, and then, in 2006, into a nonprofit center for the arts that inspires creativity and connects people. Since that time, Gorton has presented professional live music and events, a wide range of classes, and films for all ages. Gorton also serves as a home to ten nonprofit tenants.

MISSION
Gorton Center’s mission is to be the gathering place in the heart of our community where people connect, converse, learn, listen, play and perform.
VISION
Gorton engages and enriches all generations through vibrant social experiences and exceptional arts and culture.
