Yoga: Summer Solstice Celebration @ Ragdale

Let’s Celebrate the longest day of the year with a fun outdoor yoga practice along with a post wine & cheese toast to the sun on the spectacular grounds of Ragdale!

Join our yoga instructor, Areta, for this special Solstice Yoga tradition at 6:30 PM on the Ragdale grounds. Bring your mat and your radiating energy!

The Summer solstice coming up on Tuesday, June 21 is a celebrated holiday in the yoga tradition.  It represents the longest day of the year, the first official day of summer, a chance to reconnect with nature and International Day of Yoga.  As yogis, so many of our practices revolve around the sun such as Sun Salutations (Surya Namaskara).  The origin of “saluting the sun” is about bowing too, and taking in the fiery solar energy of the sun, to become more awake, energized and grounded.

This event is on Wednesday, June 21st from 6:30pm – 8:00pm (Yoga from 6:30 – 7:30, wine and cheese immediately following)
