William Florian-Those Were The Days

Enjoy an upbeat musical journey of Americas great folk and pop songs of the 60’s and 70’s with William Florian, world renowned singer songwriter and entertainer.  William Florian will perform the music of Peter Paul & Mary, Neil Diamond, Pete Seeger,The Mamas & The Papas as well as others including some songs from his time as lead singer for The New Christy Minstrels.

William has had an amazing musical journey, starting at age 11 when he received his first guitar after watching the Beatles perform on the Ed Sullivan show. His road to fame is as much a lyrical journey as the folk songs he plays, and this type of wandering is exactly how Florian will entertain during “Those Were the Days,” an evening of music and stories.  After many decades of performing and song writing William now performs his shows ‘Those Were The Days’ at community concerts and performing art centers throughout the USA. The show toured internationally in August of 2016 with its first tour to China.

This event will take place in our Stuart Community room. Cash bar.
