Gorton Center Live: Best of the Eagles Part of the Gorton Center Live Series

Presenting Sponsor: The Lake Forest Bank & Trust Company
Event Sponsor: The Hender & Nero Financial Group

Best of the Eagles (BOTE) is the most exact interpretation of the music of the Eagles in America, performing the band’s greatest hits from the 70’s, 80’s and beyond. This is not an impersonator act, but rather a group of excellent musicians who expertly and authentically re-create the songs, music, vocals and magical aura of one of America’s greatest rock bands. Each member mirrors his counterpart in the Eagles instrumentally and vocally. That means the “Joe Walsh” sings the Joe Walsh songs, “Glen Frey” sings the Glen Frey songs, and “Don Henley” replicates all of his incredible vocals. It is the most authentic recreation next to seeing the Eagles live. The band has sold out many venues throughout the East Coast and Midwest, including the 1700 Count Basie Theater in NJ, The Gateway and Ike’s Hall at West Point in NY, The Academy Center for the Arts in VA, The Tibbits Opera House in MI, The Alhambra Theater in FL among many others. If you love the music of the Eagles, you will not want to miss!

“Our venue has presented three different Eagles tribute bands in the past few years, and Best of the Eagles is by far the best of them. They are excellent musicians and they deliver a full two hours of hits and the audience is riding the wave with them from the first note on.  Patrons said they were as great as the actual Eagles-and definitely preferred the ticket price!  It’s a rare thing for me to say you can’t go wrong with an act, but if there’s a fool-proof one in this universe, Best of the Eagles is that.”

In the event of COVID restrictions, this show will be played on our outside stage-two shows-to accommodate all patrons.
