Being a mom ain’t easy – AND we know that social support is key to learning, growing, and living life to our full potential. In this class, moms will explore both the ways motherhood is socially and culturally influenced as well as where parenting can be a gateway to healing and transformation. We’ll explore concepts like “matrescence” and the “Myth of the Perfect Mother” while integrating restorative and reflective mindfulness practices to deepen our self-understanding, self-compassion, and connection. This is for new and seasoned moms!
A clinical psychologist and certified mindfulness meditation teacher, Dr. Angele Close has been teaching workshops and courses on mindfulness, self-compassion, and emotional processing for over a decade.
