Intro to Acting Class for Adults

Have you always been curious about acting but never knew where to start? Our Intro to Acting class for adults is the perfect first step for anyone new to the craft. Whether you’re looking to step out of your comfort zone, build confidence, or explore a potential career in acting, this welcoming and supportive class is designed just for you.

Your journey begins with a free 30-minute consultation, where you’ll meet with instructor Jeremy Kruse to discuss your goals, participate in a short introductory exercise, and get a feel for the Method acting approach. This no-pressure session allows you to experience the class before committing.

If you decide to continue, you’ll enroll in three beginner sessions that focus on building a strong foundation in acting. These one-hour classes cover essential skills such as:

  • Basic script and scene analysis
  • Introduction to improvisation
  • Developing presence and confidence on stage and screen

After completing the beginner sessions, you’re welcome to join our advanced, ongoing Method acting class, held every Tuesday evening. In this dynamic group, you’ll dive deeper into scene work, character development, and improvisation, with a focus on both theater and film performance.

For those interested in pursuing acting professionally, we also offer on-camera training, help with building a demo reel, and personalized coaching for auditions and industry preparation. You’ll receive expert guidance tailored to your unique path and ambitions.

Class Schedule:

  • Free Consultation: First Thursday of each month
  • Beginner Sessions: Three one-hour classes, $25 per session ($75 total)
  • Advanced Ongoing Class: Tuesdays, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm

To schedule your free consultation, please contact Jeremy at Jeremy@nullgortoncenter.org.
