Join us for a one-of-a-kind summer experience designed to fuel your daughter’s passion for entrepreneurship while equipping her with the skills to shine in college and beyond.

Gorton Center is offering a new two-week entrepreneurship summer camp for sixth, seventh, and eighth grade girls. This program is designed for girls interested in exploring, discovering, and deepening their passion for entrepreneurship and innovation as well as making a positive impact in their communities. Students will learn how to turn their ideas into reality, collaborate with like-minded peers, and unlock their potential as future leaders and innovators.

Students will learn:

  • The basics of entrepreneurship, including idea generation, market research, business planning, and funding
  • The skills to design their very own for-profit or non-profit business
  • How to work in teams and build their network
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • Confidence by acquiring entrepreneurial competencies, showcasing newly learned skills, taking smart risks, and fearlessly pitching their ideas
  • Emotional intelligence, stress management, and strategies for developing a growth mindset
  • How to reframe and bounce forward from failure
  • Design thinking and how to put it into practice
  • How to find a problem worth solving

Students will also create connections with like-minded entrepreneurial girls and successful entrepreneurs. And at the end of the two-week session, they will produce an original and novel venture idea that they will pitch with confidence.

Ages: 6th, 7th & 8th Grade Girls

A course schedule will be provided upon acceptance.  Email questions to kate@nullgirlgonnalaunch.org
