Sonny Hayes (Brad Pitt) was Formula 1’s brightest star in the 1990s. A crash on the track nearly ended his career and left him drifting for decades. Now, thirty years later, he races from job to job, chasing speed but never glory.

That changes when his old teammate, Ruben Cervantes (Javier Bardem), comes calling. Ruben owns a failing Formula 1 team on the brink of collapse. He needs Sonny to make a comeback – one last shot to save the team and prove he can still be the best.

Sonny will race alongside Joshua Pearce (Damson Idris), a rookie with raw talent and a drive to dominate. But Formula 1 is unforgiving. Teammates become rivals. The past never stays buried. And redemption, like victory, is something no driver wins alone.

F1® The Movie also stars Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, Kim Bodnia, and Javier Bardem. Shot during real Grand Prix weekends, the film puts audiences inside the fight against the sport’s toughest titans.

Directed by Joseph Kosinski and written by Ehren Kruger. Executive produced by Daniel Lupi. With Claudio Miranda as director of photography, production design by Mark Tildesley and Ben Munro, editing by Stephen Mirrione, costumes by Julian Day, casting by Lucy Bevan, and music by Hans Zimmer.

“Grab your crew” and experience the exhilaration!
