Etiquette Class for Kids (Ages 5–8)
Building Social Skills and Confidence with Sarah Berto

Manners truly matter, and teaching kids the value of good etiquette sets them up for success in both social and family settings. In this engaging and fun class, children ages 5–8 will learn important life skills that will help them navigate social interactions with confidence, respect, and grace.

Led by Sarah Berto, founder of Confidence with Etiquette, this class is designed to teach young children essential etiquette strategies that are both practical and enjoyable. The focus will be on fostering polite and respectful behavior in everyday situations, helping children develop positive habits that will benefit them for years to come.

Topics covered in this hands-on class include:

  • Table Manners: Learn how to set a table for a two-course meal using porcelain dinnerware, cutlery, and glasses—setting the foundation for proper dining etiquette.

  • Patience and Taking Turns: Understand the importance of waiting for your turn, listening attentively, and showing patience during conversations and activities.

  • Good Posture: Practice sitting with good posture, keeping elbows off the table, and engaging in pleasant table manners during meals.

  • Eye Contact and Listening Skills: Learn how to make good eye contact and actively listen during conversations, showing respect for others and enhancing communication.

  • Making Conversation: Teach children how to engage in polite conversation at the table, ask questions, and show interest in others’ thoughts and feelings.

With each lesson, children will not only acquire important social skills but also gain confidence in their ability to interact positively with peers and adults. Good manners help build trust and pave the way for meaningful relationships, so give your child the tools to succeed in any social situation.

Sign up today and help your child build a strong foundation for social success!
