Bring your own art project and spend dedicated time creating in a welcoming studio environment! Intermediate Color Pencil Art class gives you the freedom to focus on the work that interests you most. Work at your own pace. Explore your ideas. Make progress on a project you already love or try something new.

You’ll create alongside other artists and learn from one another along the way. Ask questions. Share ideas. Offer feedback. Discover different ways to approach creative challenges. The group setting encourages conversation and inspiration while still giving you plenty of time to focus on your own work.

The instructor will also demonstrate techniques that can support your individual project. Learn new methods. Strengthen your skills. Experiment with different approaches and apply what works best for your artistic goals.

Bring your own reference images and any materials or supplies your project requires. Then come ready to create, experiment, and connect. Whether you want to finish a work in progress, develop your skills, or simply make more time for art, Intermediate Color Pencil Art offers a supportive space to keep creating.

Gorton offers financial assistance and flexible payment options to individuals who may be unable to afford standard program fees. This support ensures that everyone has the opportunity to participate in meaningful learning and cultural enrichment experiences. Applications are reviewed based on demonstrated financial need.

Gorton Center will take and may use photos and videos from this event for its promotional purposes. Your attendance indicates your consent to the above.

Refunds will only be given up to one week prior to the first week of class of any session. (The refund period for some classes, which require advanced reservations or purchase of materials, may be more limited.) Cancellations will incur a $5 handling fee for programs costing under $100 and a 10% handling fee for programs with fees of $100 or more. If a class is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, you will be notified, and a full refund will be given.

If this class does not meet the minimum participation requirement, you will be notified of the cancellation within one week of the start date.
