Kitchen Facilities
Conveniently located on the first floor is a 428-square-foot prep kitchen, offering an ample staging area for your caterer. The kitchen features a commercial-grade refrigerator, a 6-burner stovetop, ovens, a microwave, and a large, stainless steel double sink.

On the lower level, adjacent to the Grotto, is another kitchen which has plenty of counter space, a residential-grade refrigerator, double ovens, a microwave, and a sink.

Parking & Accessibility
Free parking is available in Gorton’s onsite parking lot. For large events when extra parking is needed, additional parking is available in the lot north of Gorton, along the north side of Illinois Road, and also in the train station lots across from Gorton. All areas of the building are easily accessible for guests and caterers via elevator, stairway, and ramps. Hearing Loops are available in our John & Nancy Hughes Theater and Stuart Community Room.

Technical Support
Gorton Center can provide technical assistance with sound, lighting, staging, video, internet, and meeting conferencing.
