Celebrate America’s 250th anniversary with an afternoon of patriotic music and singing at Gorton Center. Join musicians from the Lake Forest Civic Orchestra as part of the City of Lake Forest’s America250 celebration.
The LFCO brass and wind quintets will perform beloved patriotic music spanning the American Revolution to today. Audiences will enjoy timeless favorites that honor the spirit, history, and traditions of the United States.
In addition, Natalie Grana — known locally for her role as Holly Jolly Elf — will lead an interactive sing-along featuring some of America’s most recognizable patriotic songs. Veterans in attendance will also be recognized during this special community celebration.
This family-friendly concert offers a meaningful way for guests of all ages to commemorate this historic milestone together. After the performance, enjoy complimentary red, white, and blue snow cones on the lawn while celebrating summer and community spirit.
This program will take place in the intimacy of our Stuart Community Room. Patrons are encouraged to purchase tickets early as space is limited.
