Alice Moody & Ann Walters began Between the Covers Book Discussions in 2016. As professional facilitators, they’ve led hundreds of talks at libraries, independent bookstores, community centers, and private homes and venues. In addition to hosting pop-up recommendation events, they run a popular online literary subscription series, now in its third year. Before founding their current venture, Ann was a longtime bookseller at Lake Forest Book Store and blogged at Books on the Table. Alice, a writing coach and workshop leader, created Short Stories Live, a unique experience that melds live performance with literary discussion. Both Alice & Ann believe in the power of books to build connections and broaden our understanding of humanity.
