Gorton CenterWelcome to RoboThink Camp – the ultimate amusement park-building adventure where creativity, engineering, and fun come together like never before! In this immersive, hands-on camp, your child steps into the exciting role of a roller coaster engineer, tasked with designing and building some of the wildest, most thrilling rides imaginable.
From the ground up, campers will construct working models of classic amusement park attractions like Ferris Wheels, spinning rides, and high-speed roller coasters using RoboThink’s innovative STEM-based kits.
Throughout the week, students will dive into the world of mechanical engineering, learning key principles such as motion, force, gear ratios, and structural design. Each challenge is designed to foster creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork as campers problem-solve their way through the design process and test their creations in real time.
But it’s not just about nuts and bolts—RoboThink Land encourages campers to think like inventors, collaborate like engineers, and express themselves like artists. Whether they’re reimagining a loop-de-loop coaster or engineering a new spin on a teacup ride, your child will gain valuable STEM skills in a fun, supportive environment where experimentation and innovation are always encouraged.
By the end of the camp, your child will not only have a deeper understanding of how amusement park rides work, but also the pride of having built them from scratch—plus the confidence to keep dreaming, building, and exploring the world of engineering long after camp ends.
Ages: 7 – 12
