Reiki
Reiki is a Japanese energy healing practice that promotes physical, emotional, and mental balance. In this class, you will learn techniques for self-care, relaxation, and stress management. Rei means ‘Universal life’ and Ki means ‘energy, so reiki literally means Universal Life Force Energy.
Reiki can be a spiritual journey for some as it helps connect individuals with the Universal Life Force Energy. Taking a Reiki class can deepen one’s spiritual practice and lead to a greater understanding of oneself.
In this workshop, you will explore what “energy work” is and determine whether you want to gain the knowledge and skills to provide energy healing to yourself and others through further study of reiki.
Reiki is a form of alternative therapy that originated in Japan. It involves the use of a practitioner’s hands to channel and transfer energy into the patient’s body, with the goal of promoting relaxation, reducing stress and anxiety, and improving overall well-being. The practice is based on the belief that there is a universal life force energy that flows through all living things and that by harnessing and directing this energy, healing can occur at the physical, emotional, and spiritual levels. Reiki is considered a gentle, non-invasive therapy, and is often used alongside traditional medical treatments as a complementary therapy.
