Singer-songwriter Pierce Pettis has earned a devoted following over the decades with his poetic lyrics, distinctive voice, and deeply personal songwriting. A former member of the famed “Fast Folk” movement in New York and a writer at Muscle Shoals’ legendary Fame Studios, Pettis was has spent a lifetime crafting heartfelt, finely-wrought songs. Harkening back to the days of original folk revival, his songs were featured in albums from the likes of Joan Baez, and recently his works have been recorded by artists such as Garth Brooks and Art Garfunkel. He has released critically acclaimed albums featuring collaborations with top-tier musicians and producers. Lauded by artists like Dar Williams and Indigo Girls, Pettis continues to captivate audiences with performances that blend southern roots, folk storytelling, and emotional depth.
