Experience the magic of Peter Pan Now, a fresh, lively adaptation by Jeremy Kruse, at the John and Nancy Hughes Theater this summer! Campers and group attendees are invited to attend this exciting production, where they can also take part in hands-on acting, singing, dancing, and stage tech workshops led by industry professionals.

Ages:
  • 7 to 17.
  • Kids under the age of 7 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Kids over the age of 7 must not!
  • All ages from camps, groups and organizations.

  •  “Peter Pan Now” 
  • 1 hour.
  • Watch the electrifying performance of kid actors in “Peter Pan Now” directed by the acclaimed Madison Kisst, and written by award-winning author Jeremy Kruse. Experience dynamic performances, stunning choreography, and a nostalgic yet reenergized take on this classic tale.

Participate 

  • Take an acting workshop.
  • 1 hour.
  • Participate in an hour-long acting workshop led by seasoned instructors. Engage in fun improv games and acting exercises designed for both newcomers and experienced actors. It’s a great opportunity to explore creativity, build confidence, and make new friends.
  • There are 30 spots available each day for the workshop. A second workshop will be added if the first one sells out.

About Our Artistic Director:

Jeremy Kruse, Artistic Director of Gorton Drama Studio is the author of “The Young Actor’s Handbook” (Applause Acting Series, 2017).The book was published in Korean and Chinese in 2022. Jeremy is a professional actor, published playwright, award-winning screenwriter, and award-winning filmmaker. Some of the classes he taught at The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York include Method Acting, Comedic Improvisation, Sketch Comedy Writing, and Acting for Film and TV. He graduated from The Strasberg Institute at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts where he majored in drama. Jeremy also teaches privately, one on one  www.jeremykruse.com and www.jeremykruseactingtraining.com 

Director, Madison Kisst is an actor, director, and theatre teacher. She has taught for professional theater companies across the country and for the undergraduate acting program at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Madison has extensive training in physical and classical theatre, voice and movement, and devising. As an actor, some of her credits include: American Repertory Theater, Lyric Repertory Company, The Great American Melodrama and Vaudeville, Utah Shakespeare Festival, Idaho Shakespeare Festival, Nevada Conservatory Theater, and Santa Cruz Shakespeare. She has her BA in Theatre Arts and Master of Fine Arts in Performance.
