Overture Music x Gaming: Play, Explore and Learn Music Through Games!

What if your little one could learn music without the pressure of formal lessons? At Overture Games, we’ve reimagined music learning for early learners using interactive video games and play-based exploration. This program is perfect for K – 6th grades with little or no music experience who are ready to build curiosity, confidence, and creativity.

Guided by professional musician mentors, your child will play games like Rocket Race and Harmony Voters that sneak in real musical concepts like rhythm, pitch, and melody while keeping the experience joyful and pressure-free. We meet kids at their level and help them discover that music is something they already have inside them.

Each session is a hands-on adventure that helps build foundational skills in listening, motor coordination, and expression all while having a blast. Whether they’re tapping rhythms or singing along to their own in-game compositions, your child will leave each class feeling like a musical superhero.

Aspen Buckingham and Steven Jiang, co-founders of Overture Games, are on a mission to revolutionize music education through video games. Aspen, a Northwestern University alumnus, has a background in music composition and computer science. Steven, also a Northwestern graduate, holds degrees in economics and music performance. Their passion for music entrepreneurship has earned them recognition on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list and the Chicago Inno 25 Under 25 list.
