Gorton CenterThe International Students Association (ISA) warmly invites the Lake Forest College community and beyond to our “One World” event, an immersive celebration of the diverse cultures and traditions that enrich our campus. This event will feature captivating performances, including dance, singing, and poetry, as well as the opportunity to enjoy traditional dishes selected by students, offering a taste of cuisines from around the world.
By welcoming both on and off-campus guests, we aim to foster an environment where cultural exchange thrives, promoting mutual respect and understanding while deepening our appreciation for global diversity. Attendees will experience the beauty and richness of various cultures, making this a truly unique event.
Beyond sharing our vibrant cultural traditions, “One World” serves a crucial purpose as a fundraiser to support international students on F-1 visas who are facing financial difficulties. The funds raised from this event will directly alleviate some of the financial burdens, helping them focus on their academic success and overall well-being.
