Griffin House: Acclaimed Singer-Songwriter and Storyteller

Griffin House is an American singer-songwriter known for his heartfelt lyrics and compelling storytelling. For over 20 years, he has recorded and toured across the country, building a loyal following with more than 13 albums. His 2004 debut, Lost and Found, earned national attention when it was featured on CBS Sunday Morning. Music critic and former MTV/VH1 executive Bill Flanagan named House one of the best emerging singer-songwriters of our time.

House built a devoted fan base through grassroots touring, opening for legendary acts like John Mellencamp and The Cranberries. In 2009, he became a national headliner with an appearance on Late Night with Craig Ferguson and the release of his cult favorite track, “The Guy That Says Goodbye to You is Out of His Mind.”

House’s influence extends beyond the stage. In 2019, the Amazon Prime documentary Rising Star captured his journey through the music industry. It follows Griffin House’s journey through the music industry as well as a personal look at how he balances life on the road with marriage, fatherhood, and sobriety.

House’s music has been featured on prime time television shows such as One Tree Hill, Rescue Me, Party of Five, and Everwood.  In addition, music magazines like Rolling Stone, No Depression, and Paste have praised his sound and songwriting.

Griffin House continues to create and evolve. His latest release, The Tides, is a five-song EP produced by Grammy Award-winning producer Jacquire King. The new music reflects his signature style – deeply personal, lyrically rich, and unmistakably authentic.
