Organize Your Life Stories Photos & Family Tree In One Family Heirloom Book

Do you or a loved one have a surplus of photos that need sorting and personal stories that should be written down for future generations? Both of these can be daunting tasks that we tend to procrastinate year after year. During the “Get Your Stories Straight” program, participants will learn how to interview family members, organize stories and curate photos to go along with each story. The end goal is to create a single book that will be a family heirloom for generations.

Adrienne Fawcett has been collecting and telling stories for many years. She’s the former editor of the local news websites GazeboNews and DailyNorthShore; producer and editor of Architectural Lake Forest, a book published by Lake Forest Preservation Foundation; and writer of Lake Bluff History Museum’s Lake Bluff Stories series. She has also worked as an interviewer for a book company that publishes autobiographies. Adrienne runs a small business, Family Heirloom Books, where she helps people organize their own or a family members’ memories, stories and photos into a single, beautiful book.
