Gorton CenterCalling all experienced stitchers: this is the camp you’ve been waiting for! Our Advanced Sewing Camp is designed specifically for students who already have a solid foundation in sewing and are ready to take their skills to the next level. If you’re confident using a sewing machine and familiar with the basics, come join us for a creative, skill-building experience where you’ll dive into more challenging techniques and projects.
Over the course of this week-long camp, students will complete an advanced sewing project using a professional sewing pattern, giving them real-world experience in reading, interpreting, and following detailed instructions. Along the way, we’ll focus on mastering more intricate sewing components such as zippers, buttons, pockets, and proper finishing techniques.
Led by the talented instructors from Ciao Bella Sewing, this camp combines expert guidance with a fun, supportive atmosphere where creativity and learning go hand in hand. Whether you dream of designing your own clothes, sewing for fun, or building a portfolio for future opportunities, this camp will help you grow your confidence and capabilities.
All supplies are included though students are welcome to bring their own machine if they prefer working on familiar equipment. Each camper should bring a water bottle and a healthy snack each day to stay energized during our hands-on sessions.
Whether you’re a returning camper or new to our advanced program, you’re invited to join this exciting week of sewing, skill-building, and self-expression. It’s SEW much fun—and a great way to connect with fellow creative minds!
Prior sewing experience and machine knowledge required. New and returning students welcome!
