Sewing Camp: Back to School helps creative kids get ready for the school year while learning practical sewing skills. This hands-on sewing camp focuses on projects campers can use every day. As a result, kids leave with both confidence and creativity stitched in.
Throughout the week, campers learn essential sewing techniques step by step. First, they practice basic skills and safe tool use. Then, they apply what they’ve learned to fun, functional projects. Campers make cozy PJ pants, a Velcro pencil case, a reversible bag for school activities, and a playful technology pillow.
Along the way, campers follow patterns, solve problems, and bring their ideas to life. Each project builds independence while encouraging self-expression. Plus, the supportive environment makes it easy for beginners and returning sewists to feel successful.
By the end of the week, campers head back to school with new skills, handmade projects, and pride in what they’ve created. Most importantly, they leave inspired and ready to keep sewing long after camp ends.
This camp will be led by Ciao Bella Sewing. All supplies, including fabric, sewing machines, and sewing notions are provided. It is SEW much fun to sew and create. Students can bring their own sewing machine or use the provided sewing machines.
Students should bring a water bottle and healthy snack everyday. *New and returning students are welcome!
