A blood drive is an essential activity, as outlined by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). It is imperative for community health and public preparedness plans to maintain blood collection during this challenging time to ensure patient survival.

If you want to donate blood, make sure to eat a healthy meal and drink an extra 16 oz. of water and fluids before the donation.

Also, bring a photo ID, your blood donor card, or two other forms of ID. You can save up to 15 minutes when you donate blood by using RapidPass! Visit redcrossblood.org/RapidPass for more information (note: RapidPass can only be completed on the day of your donation).
