Fencing also develops discipline, respect, maturity and good sportsmanship, qualities that carry through to our everyday life. This class is for those new to fencing or those who would like to work on basic fencing skills. This class will cover basic rules, etiquette, footwork, attacks and defenses. Classes will consist of warm-up, footwork, group lesson and bouting.
All equipment will be provided to students. The instructor will fit children on the first day of class. If you would like to purchase your own equipment, please mention it to the instructor and he can provide details.
This class runs on Mondays, December 5 – January 23 (NO CLASS December 26 and January 2), 5:00pm – 6:00pm
– For Ages: 7 – 14 Years Old
Gorton Center will take and may use photos and videos from this event for its promotional purposes. Your attendance indicates your consent to the above.
Refunds will only be given up to one week prior to the first week of class of any session. (The refund period for some classes, which require advanced reservations or purchase of materials, may be more limited.) Cancellations will incur a $5 handling fee for programs costing under $100 and a 10% handling fee for programs with fees of $100 or more. If a class is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, you will be notified, and a full refund will be given.
