THE CENTER OF OUR COMMUNITY
Filled with both culture and history, Gorton Center was transformed from a school built in 1901 into a community center in 1974, and then, in 2006, into a nonprofit center for the arts that inspires creativity and connects people. Since that time, Gorton has presented professional live music and events, a wide range of classes, and films for all ages. Gorton also serves as a home to eight nonprofit tenants.
