Introduction to financial skills that have not been earned the hard way!

Young adults today face unprecedented financial challenges. The current economic climate makes the transition into adulthood particularly difficult, especially for those lacking financial knowledge. Poor financial decisions during this period can have lasting, costly effects. The rise of AI-driven personalized advertising is poised to complicate their financial future, making it easier to spend and harder to save.  While children growing up in affluence have some advantages, others often miss out on essential financial lessons such as the value of hard work, delayed gratification, and the importance of saving. This presentation will cover fundamental topics for young adults including how to discuss money, where to find reliable financial information, budgeting, setting financial goals, managing credit, and planning for long-term savings.
