Sylvia Kollasch is a 19 year old singer/songwriter. She just finished her freshman year at Belmont University in Nashville. Her genre is described as indie folk/rock. Some highlights of her music career are her album, Nothing Like You, multiple performances in the North Shore area, and recently her all girl band where she plays drums. She’s hoping to release more music in the coming year.
Jagger, the velvety singer from deeply rooted beginnings in music brings what is seen as the centerpiece of music with a style that is reminiscent 70s, but with a tone and approach unique to her.
The songs she wrote, learning of instruments, and hours upon hours of singing built into a beautifully interwoven story of how the stress of judgment and challenge of shyness unfolded into a splendid turn of events.
Just a couple of years ago, Jagger began to write a series of songs alongside songwriters who had written for Grammy-nominated artists. Her approach brings a soft, calming nature to every song.
Jagger’s song “I Go Crazy” combines an ethereal feeling with soft yet expressive vocals and lyrics that will move you. Lefuturewave, a music blog based in the Netherlands wrote, “…’I Go Crazy’ is serene, simple, and striking; it takes you back to your thoughts for a brief moment. So just as Nagamag, an international music magazine, stated, “Listen and enjoy every single second of this Dream Pop candy.”
You can listen to “I Go Crazy” on Chicago’s 101.9 The Mix, 103.1 FM and University of Illinois 107.1 FM. Click to listen to her original song Melancholic and learn more about Jagger
