Gorton is seeking a theater production intern. This person would work with Gorton’s Theater Manager to produce events and films in the John & Nancy Hughes Theater and outdoors. Hours will vary from week to week depending on the dates and times of productions, and will be known in advance. Duties will include:
- Learning about and assisting with operating lighting, sound, and projection equipment for productions and performances
- Working directly with the Technical Production Manager on projects and productions
- Assisting with equipment inventory, repair, and maintenance
- Assist on special projects
- Assist with production set-up, load-ins, and design
- Assist with daily maintenance tasks
- Assist with research, archival, and documentation
This position is 8 weeks long at 10-15 hours a week (nontraditional hours) at $15/hour.
