DESCRIPTION:Celebrate creativity and gratitude in this hands-on workshop!\nIn the Vase & Bookmark workshop\, children are invited to make personalized gifts for their teacher  – perfect for the end of term or the holiday season. In this lively\, hands-on workshop\, imagination runs free\, and appreciation comes to life through art. \nFirst\, participants choose between two exciting projects. They can build a colorful vase by arranging pencils or crayons and securing them with glue\, creating a playful and vibrant piece. Or they can transform a glass vase using decoupage\, carefully applying decorative napkins and sealing them with a clear finish for a beautifully handmade result. \nNext\, every child will craft a custom bookmark. Using craft papers\, uplifting words\, and protective tape\, they will create a unique keepsake that reflects both creativity and gratitude. \nThroughout the session\, instructors guide and encourage every step. Kids explore ideas\, try new techniques\, and watch their creations come to life. Confidence grows as each project takes shape\, and excitement builds with every finished gift. \nBy the end of the workshop\, each participant will leave with meaningful\, handmade gifts that celebrate the spirit of giving. \nAll materials are provided. DESCRIPTION:Special shopping from 2:30-3 pm for kids with sensory needs only!\nGive your child a chance to surprise the whole family this season \nA beloved community tradition\, the Kids Only Holiday Shop invites children ages four to ten to shop for loved ones – all on their own! This cherished tradition sparks independence and lets kids feel the joy of giving. \nFirst\, high school students – our cheerful Santa’s Helpers – escort each child through the boutique. Along the way\, kids explore booths from local vendors and artisans. \nNext\, the Elves help young shoppers manage their money and make thoughtful choices. Finally\, the Wonder Wrappers step in to wrap each purchase – so every gift is ready to be placed under the tree. \nSign up today and make holiday memories that last! \n \nMore Information: \n\nHave your child bring a gift list indicating each person for whom they are to buy and how much to spend on each individual.\nKeep gift lists to eight people max\nA good guideline for budgeting is between $5-15 per person you are buying for. Please be sure to send your child with enough money for the gifts on their list.\nShoppers should bring a ziplock bag with cash only in small bills for payment\nMost items are priced between $5-$15\n2:30-3 pm is a special shopping time for kids with sensory needs only!\n3-6 pm are regular shopping hours\nPlease register and choose a 15-minute entry window\n\nHot cocoa and cider for sale by Snowie Food Truck\n \nInterested in being a vendor for this event?
