SUMMARY:The Shining
DESCRIPTION:Here’s Johnny!\nStanley Kubrick’s The Shining is one of the most iconic films in horror history. Based on Stephen King’s bestselling novel\, this psychological thriller follows Jack Torrance. Jack is a struggling writer who takes a job as the winter caretaker of the remote Overlook Hotel in Colorado. \nJack arrives with his wife\, Wendy\, and their young son\, Danny. He hopes the quiet setting will give him time to focus on his writing. However\, the isolation soon takes a dark turn. Danny begins to experience disturbing visions connected to the hotel’s past. Meanwhile\, Jack slowly descends into madness. Sinister forces within the Overlook begin to take hold. \nJack Nicholson delivers an unforgettable performance as Jack Torrance. Kubrick builds tension through eerie imagery\, haunting settings\, and careful direction. Together\, these elements create a chilling story about isolation\, obsession\, family\, and madness. \nMore than four decades after its release\, The Shining still fascinates and unsettles audiences. The eerie corridors of the Overlook feel just as haunting today. Its most memorable scenes have also become part of film history. \nWhether you’re a longtime fan or watching it for the first time\, experience The Shining on the big screen. Turn down the lights\, turn up the volume\, and prepare for an unforgettable night at the movies. \nFILM DETAILS\n\nRating: R\nRuntime: 144 minutes\nDirector: Stanley Kubrick\nWriters: Stanley Kubrick\, Diane Johnson\nBased on the novel by: Stephen King\nStarring: Jack Nicholson\, Shelley Duvall\, Danny Lloyd\, Scatman Crothers
