SUMMARY:Drawing Faces Like Da Vinci Art Camp
DESCRIPTION:Drawing Faces Like Da Vinci is a hands-on art camp designed for middle and high schoolers to master the art of portrait drawing using the techniques of the great Leonardo da Vinci. \nWe will use contemporary images from fashion and sport (appealing to all genders\, and interests) and over five sessions students will combine direct instruction with guided practice to explore Da Vinci’s principles of proportion\, symmetry\, and shading. Inspired by the Vitruvian Man and the golden ratio\, young artists will uncover the science behind beauty and balance in facial features. \nWhether beginners or budding artists\, participants will develop new skills\, gain confidence\, and leave with their own Renaissance-inspired masterpieces. Grades 5-12
