Along the way\, they build real design skills and express their creativity. \nAt the end of the week\, campers show off their work in a fun fashion show. Family and friends are invited to celebrate their creativity and hard work. \nEach camper completes at least five original pieces to take home. The camp fee includes all materials and supplies. This camp is perfect for budding designers and hands-on makers alike. It blends fun\, fashion\, and artistic expression. \nNo prior experience is required. Just bring your imagination and enthusiasm! \nFor those students who are looking to attend more than one week of camp\, please note that each week will feature a different series of projects as well as new clay colors and designs to choose from.  \nAges 6 – 13 \n \nElena Victoria is a local fashion designer who has gone on to find her true passion in teaching youth how to design and sew their own clothing and jewelry through her program\, EV Fine Arts. Next\, you’ll experiment with colors\, textures\, and simple designs. Finally\, you’ll leave with a one-of-a-kind creation that is both charming and handmade. \nSo\, if you enjoy trying something new\, this class is for you! If you’ve been wanting to turn a photo into a painting or have started a piece but feel unsure about how to move forward\, this is the perfect opportunity to get expert guidance and renewed inspiration. \nEach student brings in either a reference photo or an unfinished painting to work on during class. From there\, artist and instructor Michael Latala provides hands-on\, individualized instruction to help you make confident artistic decisions. First\, he’ll show you how to evaluate your photo reference—guiding you in choosing what elements to include and what to leave out. Then\, through clear demonstrations\, he’ll help you resolve common issues like washed-out highlights or areas that have gone too dark to read. \nThroughout the class\, Michael gives each student personal attention. If you’d prefer to keep your canvas untouched\, he’s happy to demonstrate his suggestions digitally using Procreate on his iPad Pro. This digital approach allows you to visualize changes before applying them\, which can be especially helpful when exploring different color choices or compositional edits. \nImportantly\, this class is all about progress at your own pace.
