DESCRIPTION:Come to Gorton for an amazing “GNO” (girls night out) or bring your hubby-either way you are sure to be entertained\, uplifted\, and laugh the entire evening!  Beer\, wine and non-alcoholic beverages will be for sale.  Show will take place in our John & Nancy Hughes Theater. \n  \nKaren Morgan was born and raised in Athens\, Georgia but now calls Maine home. A former trial attorney\, she began her professional comedy career as a Finalist on Nickelodeon Television’s “Search for the Funniest Mom in America.” Since then\, she has performed in comedy clubs and theaters from New York to Hollywood. \nKaren’s latest CD “Mean Candy” can be heard on Sirius XM Radio\, and her comedy specials can be seen on Dry Bar Comedy. Her TV appearances include comedy shows and ads for companies like Wal-Mart and Zyrtec. Karen’s clean shows in Performing Arts Centers around the country have made her a favorite among theater audiences. \n“Comedy through the perceptive eye of a wife and mother; prepared with the tenacity of an attorney; and tempered with a dash of southern charm. DESCRIPTION:Cello Concert\n  \nA little over a year ago\, Drew was playing college baseball for the University of Louisville. During his time on campus\, he realized that he had lost his love for baseball and his passion for music was growing. Throughout the past year\, he has accumulated over 330\,000 followers on Tik Tok due to his unique musical ability and passion. Drew plays music by ear and brings a new twist to a wide variety of songs and has recently released two independent original albums. Due to the influence of social media\, a majority of Drew’s supporters have come from an International audience and on April 21 and 22\, 2023 he hopes to connect with his hometown and bring his music to a local platform. He would like to invite you to attend one of his debut performances! \nDrew will perform the songs that you know and love in a way that you have never heard them before. The slow\, graceful and precise body movements can enhance the strength of body and clarity of mind. Join Ken Ning and learn the flowing movements of Tai Chi.\nSaturdays 11:00am – 12:00pm \nKen has been practicing martial arts for 27 years\, and started Tai Chi training in 1996 with Sifu Dale Washington\, Sifu Ban Toy in 2000 and Grand Master Yang Jun in 2006. He has been practicing Tai Chi for 21 years and teaching Tai Chi for 12 years. In 2016\, he received a Gold Eagle certificate from Yang Family Tai Chi Chuan Association. certificate. Ken is also one of Grand Master Yang Jun’s Disciples for the Yang Family Tai Chi Chuan. He teaches Kickboxing and Full-contact Martial Arts teacher and is certified by Ng Family Martial Arts Association.
