SUMMARY:The Shining
DESCRIPTION:Here’s Johnny!\nStanley Kubrick’s The Shining is one of the most iconic films in horror history. Based on Stephen King’s bestselling novel\, this psychological thriller follows Jack Torrance. Jack is a struggling writer who takes a job as the winter caretaker of the remote Overlook Hotel in Colorado. \nJack arrives with his wife\, Wendy\, and their young son\, Danny. He hopes the quiet setting will give him time to focus on his writing. However\, the isolation soon takes a dark turn. Danny begins to experience disturbing visions connected to the hotel’s past. Meanwhile\, Jack slowly descends into madness. Sinister forces within the Overlook begin to take hold. \nJack Nicholson delivers an unforgettable performance as Jack Torrance. Kubrick builds tension through eerie imagery\, haunting settings\, and careful direction. Together\, these elements create a chilling story about isolation\, obsession\, family\, and madness. \nMore than four decades after its release\, The Shining still fascinates and unsettles audiences. The eerie corridors of the Overlook feel just as haunting today. Its most memorable scenes have also become part of film history. \nWhether you’re a longtime fan or watching it for the first time\, experience The Shining on the big screen. Turn down the lights\, turn up the volume\, and prepare for an unforgettable night at the movies. \nFILM DETAILS\n\nRating: R\nRuntime: 144 minutes\nDirector: Stanley Kubrick\nWriters: Stanley Kubrick\, Diane Johnson\nBased on the novel by: Stephen King\nStarring: Jack Nicholson\, Shelley Duvall\, Danny Lloyd\, Scatman Crothers

SUMMARY:Louder Than Guns
DESCRIPTION:“A musical journey through America with Ketch Secor\, public radio’s David Greene\, and Old Crow Medicine Show\, that humanizes all sides of America’s gun debate through the power of music\, conversation\, and finding common ground\, directed by Doug Pray.”\nIn the wake of yet another mass shooting\, this time at The Covenant School in Nashville\, Ketch Secor\, lead singer of the popular country-bluegrass band Old Crow Medicine Show\, decided it was time to speak out on gun reform. He wrote an op-ed in the New York Times entitled\, “Country Music Can Lead America Out of Its Obsession with Guns.” It caught the attention of Ketch’s friend\, David Greene\, former NPR reporter and host of KCRW’s “Left\, Right & Center\,” and the two set out to kickstart an open dialog about gun rights and gun violence in America. Film director Doug Pray followed Ketch and David as the band toured rural and urban communities\, creating the documentary LOUDER THAN GUNS named after a song Ketch wrote for the victims of the Covenant shooting. \nKnown for their signature song “Wagon Wheel\,” Old Crow Medicine Show attracts a wide demographic of music fans\, stretching to the furthest ends of today’s culture wars. People in the front row of their concerts might not agree on anything besides the music they love\, providing this film with one of modern America’s rarest opportunities: the chance to engage with one another respectfully\, despite our differences. \nSmashing stereotypes\, LOUDER THAN GUNS brings together the frustrations and hopes of citizens who are asked to listen to one another and try to find common ground. Led by Ketch and David\, these emotional and inspiring discussions\, in barbeque joints\, barbershops\, church pews\, gunstores\, and concert halls\, prove that localized\, community-led discourse has the power to move the needle on gun reform in ways that today’s polarized media and politicians rarely achieve. Because most people in this country— gun owners and non-gun owners alike— want safer communities.  \nJoin us immediately following the film for a special Musical Q&A with Ketch Secor of Old Crow Medicine Show\, alongside former host of NPR Morning Edition and current host of the public radio show\, “Left\, Right & Center” David Greene.

SUMMARY:28 Years Later
DESCRIPTION:28 YEARS LATER\nFrom the visionary director of 28 Days Later and Slumdog Millionaire comes 28 Years Later\, a chilling new chapter in the acclaimed post-apocalyptic horror series. Nearly three decades have passed since the rage virus escaped from a biological weapons laboratory. In that time\, survivors have adapted to a terrifying new reality. However\, the danger is far from over. \nYears after the original outbreak\, small communities have found ways to survive. Some have created isolated pockets of safety\, cut off from the horrors beyond their borders. Yet the infected still roam the landscape\, and the world outside remains unpredictable. \nWhen a young boy leaves the relative safety of his isolated island community\, he enters a world unlike anything he has known. His journey takes him across a devastated landscape filled with danger\, mystery\, and unexpected discoveries. Along the way\, he encounters other survivors and begins to uncover secrets about what happened after the outbreak. \nBlending intense horror\, gripping suspense\, and emotional storytelling\, 28 Years Later explores how people adapt when civilization collapses. It also asks what humanity looks like after decades of fear\, isolation\, and loss. \nUltimately\, 28 Years Later delivers a bold return to one of modern horror’s most influential worlds. With relentless tension\, haunting imagery\, and a powerful human story at its center\, the film brings audiences back into a world where survival is never guaranteed. \nRating: R\nRuntime: 1 hr 55 min\nDirected by: Danny Boyle\nWritten by: Alex Garland\nStarring: Jodie Comer\, Aaron Taylor-Johnson\, Jack O’Connell\, Alfie Williams\, Ralph Fiennes
