DESCRIPTION:The Lake County Film Festival returns for its milestone 15th edition\, bringing an exciting and diverse slate of films to local audiences from September 4–7 and September 12–15\, 2025. The festival will screen more than 134 films\, including 17 feature-length films and over 120 short films from around the world. \nGorton Center and First Thursday Series is proud to be hosting the opening night feature film\, “Color Book”! \nA devoted single father adjusts to life after his wife’s passing while raising his son with Down Syndrome. They embark on a journey through Metro Atlanta to attend their first baseball game. \nDirector: David Fortune\nWriter: David Fortune\nStars: Lynne Ashe\, Joseph Curtis Callender\, William Catlett \nWe are especially grateful to the Sheffield Foundation for sponsoring this screening. Their support allows us to bring this inspiring story to Gorton Center\, creating a memorable evening for all who attend.
