SUMMARY:Lake Forest Civic Orchestra-"In the Beginning"
DESCRIPTION:The LFCO opens our season of Epics\, Odes\, and Sagas with “In the Beginning…” featuring two takes on the creation story. Haydn opens his epic oratorio The Creation with a musical depiction of the chaos which preceded the creation of the universe. In contrast\, Darius Milhaud\, draws upon various African creation myths in his ballet score La création du monde.
