This bi-weekly one hour practice will help release tension and bring you back into balance while opening\, lengthening and strengthen the body.  Whether you are new to yoga or an experienced practitioner\, this mindful flow class will leave you feeling renewed and energized.  Bring a mat and a water bottle. \nAbout Areta:\nAreta has been teaching yoga in Lake Forest and in yoga studios along the North Shore for 10 years\, and is E-RYT 500 Certified.  Areta’s passion is bringing yoga to Every BODY\, and has additional certifications in Meditation\, Adaptive Yoga for Disabilities\, Senior Yoga\, Love Your Brain for traumatic brain injury\, Yoga for Eating Disorder Recovery\, Yin Yoga\, and Yoga for 12 Step Recovery.  Areta teaches yoga to inspire and empower physical well being\, spiritual balance and awakening for everyday life.  She is a long time resident of Lake Forest and a disability advocate and volunteer yoga coach for Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Association (GLASA).

SUMMARY:Sound Bath Meditation
DESCRIPTION:A sound bath is a meditative experience where you are “bathed” in sound waves.  It is an opportunity to unplug from external stimuli\, and an invitation to deeply relax\, restore\, and heal your mind\, body\, and soul.  No prior experience necessary\, all you need to do is listen. \nPlease wear comfortable clothing and bring: a yoga mat\, small pillow\, and anything else you need for comfort while laying down\, like a blanket and bolster pillow. \nThis class runs on Tuesday\, July 11\, 10:00am – 11:00am \nInstructor Joi Hunt:  Joi Hunt is a Lake Forest resident\, a professional calligrapher\, and a Certified Sound Wellness Practitioner.  Joi plays quartz crystal singing bowls and Himalayan bowls in her melodic sound baths.
