SUMMARY:Draw\, Paint & Construct with Lezlie and Carole
DESCRIPTION:WEEK TWO (June 12 – 15) Paint like Georgia O’Keeffe \nJoin Lezlie Lenz and Carole Pearlman for a week-long art camp!  Each afternoon students will have an art making extravaganza. Students will start with a free draw project and then go on to look at an artist of the day\, and finish with a draw-a-long.  Each artist will go home with a small portfolio of art each day.  All supplies are included! \nThis camp runs Monday\, June 12 – Thursday\, June 15\, 1:30pm – 3:30pm \nAges: 1st – 6th Grade \n*Add Lunch Bunch for the week for $20! (Lunch Bunch will run until 1:30pm for students attending Lelzlie and Carole’s camps!)

DESCRIPTION:Gorton warmly welcomes artists and creatives from diverse backgrounds! We are thrilled to announce that we are now providing studio space every Thursday\, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. This dedicated time slot allows participants to utilize our open studio space for their ongoing projects. It’s an excellent opportunity to immerse yourself in a creative environment and focus on your artistic endeavors. \nAs an added benefit\, we are delighted to have local artists Susan Sands and Joalida Smit on board. They will be present during the studio hours to offer guidance\, answer questions\, and provide valuable feedback. Their expertise and experience will undoubtedly enrich your artistic journey and foster a supportive community of like-minded individuals. \nWhether you’re a painter\, sculptor\, writer\, photographer\, or any other kind of artist\, our studio space is open to all forms of creativity. Join us on Thursdays to nurture your creative spirit\, collaborate with fellow artists\, and receive invaluable input from Susan Sands and Joalida Smit.
