SUMMARY:Autumn Leaf Canvas for Kids
DESCRIPTION:Using an oak leaf as a template we will paint and collage an autumn-inspired canvas. Participants will use paper and cardboard ephemera to collage inside the leaf shape\, then embellish with acrylic paints. This is a unique seasonal project that can be displayed all month. All materials provided. Ages 7 – 14 \nEnrolling your child in an art class is an incredible way to support their growth and creativity! For kids ages 7 to 14\, art is more than just fun – it’s a tool for self-expression and developing important skills. Through painting\, drawing\, and hands-on projects\, children enhance their fine motor skills\, boost their problem-solving abilities\, and build confidence. Art also helps kids learn patience and focus\, all while fostering imagination and individual thought. In a supportive\, collaborative environment\, they’ll explore different art forms and discover new ways to see the world\, creating something uniquely their own.

It’s an excellent opportunity to immerse yourself in a creative environment and focus on your artistic endeavors. \nAs an added benefit\, we are delighted to have local artists Susan Sands and Joalida Smit on board. They will be present during the studio hours to offer guidance\, answer questions\, and provide valuable feedback. Their expertise and experience will undoubtedly enrich your artistic journey and foster a supportive community of like-minded individuals. \nWhether you’re a painter\, sculptor\, writer\, photographer\, or any other kind of artist\, our studio space is open to all forms of creativity. Join us on Thursdays to nurture your creative spirit\, collaborate with fellow artists\, and receive invaluable input from Susan Sands and Joalida Smit.
