Sewing: DIY Fashion from the 20s-Feathers, Flappers and Fashion
DIY Fashion from the 20s: Feathers, Flappers and Fashion
Dates: Saturday, February 22, 2020
Time: 9:30-11:30 AM
When you reminisce about the roaring 20s, how can you not think of the fabulous fashion trends. The 20s was a time when fashion changed; women’s clothing became less conservative and more liberal with knee length skirts, dresses and trendy hair pieces. Join Ciao Bella Sewing for a day of sewing fun and explore fashion from the 20s. All participants will make their very own feather head piece. Head pieces will be made from lace stretch elastic, feathers and small decorative trim. We will use the sewing machine to sew the lace together and then use hot glue to apply the feathers. This workshop is great for anyone interested in fashion and sewing. No prior experience needed. All supplies included.
