This high intensity approach combines aerobics, dance and exercise all to a salsa beat! The workout benefits include flexibility, conditioning and shaping-up. Uno-dos-tres…..it’s a fun workout!
SALSArobics – 50 min duration
Esther offers a new high intensity class with low and high impact options for every student. This class averages 4500-5000 steps with varying degrees of intensity. Total Body Training Systems Methodology is used to maintain proper postural alignment and ensure muscular conditioning. PHA training Methodology to enhance cardiovascular conditioning is used throughout which helps with balance and coordination. Aerobic intensity is enhanced by using inline motion protocol. (moving from end to end of studio.) Stretching performed at end of session.
SALSArobics was created by Colombian-born Esther Gutiérrez Sloan. Esther has performed SALSArobics on national television and local television in Illinois and California. She and other SALSArobics instructors teach SALSArobics at several locations in the Chicago area. Esther has led SALSArobics exhibitions and presentations at fitness conventions, health clubs, high schools and ethnic festivals nationally and internationally.
