Gorton CenterIt’s time to renew and restore your mind and body. Restorative yoga is a restful practice meant to “restore” the body. This practice allows you to help your body deeply relax, still your mind, balance your nervous system and release muscle tension.
The journey begins with Yin Yoga (gentle and longer holds) focused on awakening our meridian lines, moving into Pranayama techniques, using breath work for expansion, control and quieting the mind and concluding with a guided meditation practice. This monthly self-care workshop will inspire you to bring these newly learned yogic techniques into your everyday home practice.
This workshop runs on Sunday, January 22, 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm
Future Workshop Dates: 2/19, 3/19 and 4/23
