About the instructors:
Katie shares a yoga practice that is accessible to everyone. She enjoys teaching yoga to children, school teachers, cancer center clients, new mothers, and older adults. Katie is a student in the Krishnamacharya/Desikachar lineage (sometimes referred to as “Viniyoga”) and is grateful for her teachers who have shared this knowledge with her. In addition to being registered at the 500 HR level with Yoga Alliance, Katie has completed trainings in children’s yoga, restorative yoga, and yoga nidra. Most recently, she has been studying Yoga Therapy under the tutelage of J.J. Gormley and Laura Jane Mellencamp as it was taught by T.K.V. Desikachar.
