The Phantom of the Opera Part of the Citadel Theater Series
“You alone can make my song take flight. It’s over now, the music of the night.”
Come celebrate Andrew Lloyd Webber with Gorton and the Citadel Theatre!
CITADEL THEATRE SERIES PRESENTS:
Based on the hit musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber, the tale tells the story of a disfigured musical genius that haunts the catacombs beneath the Paris Opera, waging a reign of terror over its occupants. When he falls fatally in love with the lovely Christine, the Phantom devotes himself to creating a new star for the Opera–exerting a strange sense of control over the young soprano as he nurtures her extraordinary talents.
The Phantom of the Opera shares the same composer as Citadel Theater’s JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s irresistible family musical about the trials and triumphs of Joseph, Israel’s favorite son! Celebrating its 50th Anniversary this year, it is one of the most enduring shows of all time, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is a re-imagining of the Biblical story of Joseph, his father Jacob, eleven brothers and the coat of many colors. Come celebrate the holidays with your family at this inspirational and rollicking musical extravaganza!. Running Fri, Nov 16th through Sun, Dec 23, 2018 – more information and tickets can be found here.
