The Nature of the Beast: Violin Construction and Components

Everything you’ve ever wondered about the violin, but didn’t know how to ask!  In this visual, interactive, and discussion-based presentation, Classic Violins Luthier Spencer Hamann will give a tour of the violin from a luthier’s perspective.  He will examine and discuss the various components that make up an instrument, how they are made, how they work together, and the importance and influence each piece has on how the instrument sounds and feels to play.  Bring your questions, and get to know your instrument on a whole new level.

FREE event.  Hosted with violin teacher Donna Curry.  Please RSVP here.
