The Magic Parlour Show Outside at Gorton

The Magic Parlour Show, starring Dennis Watkins, comes to Gorton! Watkins is a third-generation magician and delivers an evening of sophisticated tom-foolery, wonderfully close-up and personal. “Mind blowing” is how people describe his mind reading and magic. Get ready to experience this first hand in a lively outdoor show! Dennis Watkins’ The Magic Parlour show has entertained guests all over the world. With rave reviews, he has performed to over 20,000 guests so it’s no surprise that The Magic Parlour is downtown Chicago’s longest-running magic show, but you can see it here in your own backyard!
“Lawn seats” will be sectioned off in our parking lot facing the stage. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets for seating. Seating for this event is limited in order to comply with Illinois guidelines and we cannot exceed maximum capacity. We will have designated circles for your party that can accommodate parties of 2 to up to 6 people. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic concessions will be for sale in pre-packaged, unopened containers.
YOU MUST CHECK-IN WHEN YOU ARRIVE! Please find the check-in table on the sidewalk in front of our building when you arrive. Due to contact tracing, everyone is required to check in and wear a wrist band.
Parking: You may park in our upper lot, across the street at the train station, and along the north side of Illinois Road.
Gates open at 3:30pm / show is at 4PM
Cash bar/concessions will be available for sale during the show.
Seating areas in our parking lot will be clearly designated and safely spaced.
All employees/volunteers have been educated and trained on the need for personal sanitation and hygiene as well as the sanitation of our facility and all employees/volunteers will be wearing PPE at the event.
Concessions (beverages) are available for purchase.
Our restrooms in the building will be open. Use your mask when heading to the restroom. There will be plenty of hand soap and sanitizer on hand.
Pets are not allowed at this event. No food is allowed at this event.

I understand that the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by COVID-19 at Gorton may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself and others, including, but not limited to, Gorton employees, volunteers, and program participants and their families. I voluntarily agree to assume all of the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury to my child(ren) or myself (including, but not limited to, personal injury, disability, and death), illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense, of any kind, that I or my child(ren) may experience or incur in connection with my or my child(ren)’s attendance at Gorton or participation in a Gorton program, event or activity (“Claims”). On my behalf, and on behalf of my children, I hereby release, covenant not to sue, discharge, and hold harmless Gorton, its employees, agents, and representatives, of and from the Claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto. I understand and agree that this release includes any Claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of Gorton, its employees, agents, and representatives, whether a COVID-19 infection occurs before, during, or after participation in any Gorton program, event or activity.
