Lake Forest Community Forum on Solar Power-February 6
A new Illinois law has made it easier for Lake Forest residents and businesses to benefit from solar energy. New programs and incentives are available for both rooftop solar and Community Solar, where interested customers help fund a solar installation, and in return, get credits on their electric bills.
The Lake Forest Collaborative for Environmental Leadership (LFCEL) is excited to host this community engagement forum and invites residents to come and learn about how to take advantage of solar energy at your own home from City planners and subject experts. The LFCEL is comprised of leadership from Lake Forest Open Lands, School Districts 67 and 115, Lake Forest College and The City of Lake Forest.
Jim Preschlack, Third Ward Alderman, will lead the discussion.
Gorton Community Center will take and may use photos and videos from this event for its promotional purposes. Your attendance indicates your consent to the above.
