The House with a Clock in Its Walls Part of the Ghoulish Feature Fest
GHOULISH FEATURES Fest presents: THE HOUSE WITH A CLOCK IN ITS WALLS
“You’ll see, things are quite different here.”
Ten-year-old Lewis goes to live with his oddball uncle in a creaky old house that contains a mysterious `tick tock’ noise. He soon learns that Uncle Jonathan and his feisty neighbor, Mrs Zimmerman, are powerful practitioners of the magic arts. When Lewis accidentally awakens the dead, the town’s sleepy facade suddenly springs to life, revealing a secret and dangerous world of witches, warlocks and deadly curses.
Doors open 30 minutes prior to showtime.
The John and Nancy Hughes Theater is a proud member NATO – the National Alliance of Theater Owners. NATO recently launched the “CinemaSafe” campaign, a program promoting protocols and guidelines developed and supported by leading epidemiologists to support a safe return to movie theaters. Gorton is proud to join more than 33,000 screens nationwide who have committed to implementing expert-backed, industry-specific health and safety protocols, including, but not limited to:
– Instituting a building mask policy (masks may be removed while sitting)
– Enforcing social distancing in our common areas and theater
– Reducing capacity in our theater (50 seats of the 309 seat theater)
– Enhancing building cleaning, and providing hand sanitizer stations
– Modifying concessions (including the elimination of communal food options)
CinemaSafe puts the health and safety of our patrons and staff at the core of our film presentations. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to Gorton’s Director of Film, Rebecca Fons (email@example.com) with any questions. We’ll see you at the movies – safely!
